Common questions

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Unit, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchase. Your unlock is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed into the same account.

I accidentally deleted the app. Is my data gone?

If you deleted the app, your locally stored workout data is removed from the device. Unit stores all data on-device. We recommend using iCloud device backups to protect your data.

How do ghost values work?

When you start a session, Unit pre-fills weight and reps from your most recent session for each exercise. Just tap Done to log the same values, or adjust before tapping.

Can I change my program after setup?

Yes. Go to the Programs tab to edit your split, rename days, add or remove exercises, and reorder them. Your workout history is always preserved.

Does Unit require an internet connection?

No. Unit works entirely offline. All data is stored locally on your device. An internet connection is only needed to download the app and restore purchases.

What iOS version does Unit require?

Unit requires iOS 18 or later.

How do I request a refund?

Purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the Unit purchase.

How do I delete my data?

Unit stores all data on-device. Deleting the app removes every workout, program, and setting. Unit has no account and no server-side data to delete.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Email us at support@unitlift.app with a description of the issue, your iOS version, and your device model. Screenshots help.

Troubleshooting

The app is not showing my purchase

  1. Make sure you are signed into the correct Apple ID.
  2. Go to Settings in Unit and tap Restore Purchase.
  3. If the issue persists, restart the app and try again.

Rest timer is not showing on Lock Screen

  1. Make sure Live Activities are enabled in your device Settings > Unit.
  2. Check that you have iOS 18 or later.
  3. Start a rest timer from the active workout screen.

Ghost values show wrong numbers

  1. Ghost values are based on your most recent session for each exercise.
  2. If a previous session was logged incorrectly, edit or delete the set in your session history.
  3. Ghost values update automatically after your next session.
